Sackett narrowed Clean Water Act jurisdiction in 2023. It did not cause Robertson’s 2019-2020 post-death vacatur and abatement.

the CWA’s use of “waters” in §1362(7) refers only to geographical features that are described in ordinary parlance as streams, oceans, rivers, and lakes.
