The Jerusalem Post, December 2025: reports Israeli ministers agreed NIS 2.35 billion for 2026 advocacy (hasbara), with NIS 1 billion already authorized. It is a broad public-diplomacy budget covering social media, civil-society work and delegations, not influencer pay alone. Knesset approval was still pending.
The budget will also be used, among other things, to fund social media campaigns, collaborate with civil society organizations, and bring delegations of leaders, elected officials, influencers, and others to Israel, the government said in a statement.
